Frequently Asked Questions
The Beauty Script
How do I know which treatment is right for me?
The best place to start is always a personalised consultation. It’s your time — up to an hour — to talk through your concerns, ask questions, and explore what feels right for you. There’s no rush and no pressure — just calm, honest guidance.
What’s the difference between skin boosters, filler, and Botox?
Each has its own little role in restoring balance and freshness. Skin boosters deeply hydrate, giving your skin that healthy, luminous glow. Filler softly restores lost volume and defines contours, while Botox relaxes overworked muscles, smoothing expression lines — together, they can work beautifully to bring out your natural best.
How long do dermal fillers last?
It depends on the area, but as a guide, lips tend to last around 6-9 months, while areas like cheeks or jawline often last 12-18 months. We’ll always tailor the product choice to suit your goals.
How long does Botox last?
Usually around 3-4 months, though with consistent treatments, some people notice results lasting even longer.
What is the downtime after lip filler?
A little swelling or bruising is completely normal for a few days. Most people feel happy to be out and about after that.
What is the downtime after dissolving filler?
You might feel a little tender or swollen for several days. We recommend giving it at least 2 weeks to settle fully before thinking about next steps.
Can I dissolve my filler if I don’t like the results?
Yes, absolutely. If it doesn’t feel right for you, we can safely dissolve it — we will always talk everything through first to make sure it is the best option.
Do I need a consultation first?
Yes — it’s the most thoughtful way to make sure everything we do is safe, suitable, and completely personal to you.
Do you offer financial plans?
Not at the moment — full payment is due on the day, but we will always plan treatments with your pace and comfort in mind.
Which brands of fillers and Botox do you use?
We only work with trusted, premium products — names like Juvederm, Teoxane, Botox by Allergan, and Azzalure, Alluzience By Galderma. Nothing less.
Do you offer non-surgical rhinoplasty?
Yes, for suitable clients. It’s always discussed carefully in consultation so you can make the best, most informed choice. It’s actually our founder’s favorite treatment to perform.
What should I do before my appointment?
It’s best to avoid alcohol, blood thinners (please continue if taking for a medical condition), or strenuous exercise for 24 hours — it helps minimise bruising and swelling. Try no coffee the morning of your treatment and take some Arnica tablets for 2-3 days before the appointment to minimise the bruising.
What happens if I get lumps after filler?
Little bumps can happen as the filler settles — most soften naturally over time. If they are still there after 2 weeks, just let us know and we will happily review them.
Can I fly after filler?
It is best to stay local for 24-48 hours, just in case. Flying can increase swelling and makes aftercare trickier — we always prefer to keep you close by in those first days.
Can I buy gift vouchers?
Yes — we offer beautifully personalised gift vouchers for treatments, packages, or any set amount. They are prepared with care and sent directly to your email, in line with our quiet commitment to reducing paper waste. We truly appreciate your support in helping us keep things thoughtful — for you, and for the planet.
Do you treat men?
Absolutely! We treat all genders with the same care and attention, always tailoring treatments to suit natural features.
How soon can I book filler after dissolving?
We recommend waiting at least 2 weeks after dissolving, so everything can settle gently before re-treating.
Is dissolving filler dangerous?
Not when it’s done properly. We use a medical-grade enzyme called hyaluronidase and always patch test first to make sure it’s safe for you.
Will I look overfilled or unnatural?
Never — that’s not what we believe in. Our approach is always subtle and refined, enhancing what is already beautifully yours.
Do aesthetic treatments hurt?
We use numbing where needed and always work as gently as possible. Most people find it surprisingly comfortable.
How soon will I see results?
Filler results are visible straight away, though a little swelling can blur the final look for up to 2 weeks. Botox takes up to 14 days to fully settle in.
Can I have treatment if I’m pregnant or breastfeeding?
We don’t offer injectables during pregnancy. Some options may be suitable during breastfeeding — we’re always happy to talk you through that gently and safely. Please see our pregnancy and breastfeeding policy for more info.
Do I need a patch test before treatment?
Only if you are having filler dissolved or if you have ever had a reaction to numbing products like lidocaine.
What happens if I have a complication?
Your safety comes first, always. We’re here to support you and guide you every step — complications are rare, but we have clear protocols in place to look after you.
How do I book an appointment?
You can book through our online booking system, or simply message us — we will help you find the perfect time.
What happens if I’m running late or need to cancel?
Life happens — just give us at least 24 hours’ notice if you can. If you’re running late, let us know and we will do our best to make it work, though your time might be a little shorter. Please see our cancellation policy for more info.
Do you offer packages or treatment plans?
We do — we call them “Scripts.” They are carefully designed around your goals and can be used gradually to create natural, long-lasting results.
Can I combine different treatments in one visit?
Often, yes — as long as it is safe and makes sense for your face. We will guide you gently during your consultation.
Can I have treatment if I’ve had work done elsewhere?
Of course. We will assess everything with care and guide you on the safest, most natural next steps — dissolving included if needed.
How long does swelling last?
Usually it peaks in the first 48 hours and settles over 5-7 days. True results often reveal themselves fully after 2 weeks.
How soon can I wear makeup after treatment?
We suggest waiting at least 12 hours before applying makeup to treated areas — it helps reduce any chance of irritation and infection.
What qualifications do your practitioners have?
All treatments are carried out by medically qualified, highly experienced practitioners who have had advanced training in aesthetics. You are in safe, expert hands.
What if I don’t like the results?
We will always set realistic expectations and guide you honestly. If something doesn’t feel right, we will talk through your options calmly — including adjustments or dissolving.
Can I have more filler if I don’t see enough volume?
Sometimes beautiful, natural results come in layers. We often recommend building volume gradually, leaving at least 2 weeks between sessions.
