The treatment
What are Collagen Threads?
Collagen threads are fine, dissolvable PDO (polydioxanone) monothreads placed beneath the skin. Rather than working like filler, they thicken and firm the skin and stimulate your own collagen.
They suit those who would rather not work with filler, but still want to build support and skin quality, in areas such as the submental region, the nasolabial folds, and the pre-jowl. The aim is a slow, controlled collagen response over the weeks that follow.
The method
How it works.
Fine PDO monothreads are placed beneath the skin, where they firm and thicken it and stimulate collagen along their path. They are as fine as a hair, and a session may place anywhere from ten to seventy threads depending on the areas treated.
They dissolve over the following weeks and months, leaving behind a collagen scaffold, so the improvement in firmness and definition continues to build and refine over time.

Step 01
Your consultation

Step 02
Your treatment
Anaesthesia is a topical numbing cream, with a little lidocaine added where required for comfort. Fine PDO monothreads, as fine as a hair, are then placed beneath the skin, anywhere from ten to seventy in a session depending on the area. The appointment takes forty-five to sixty minutes.
Step 03
Your aftercare
Mild swelling or bruising for several days is a normal part of the process. The treatment is given as a course, one session every four to six weeks, and we provide detailed aftercare guidance and review the result as it settles, with our client care team on hand whenever you would like reassurance.
